Charlotte's Web
If I was Fern I would have also saved Wilbur from death. It would not have been fair to kill Wilbir when they didn' t know what he would have been capable of when he grew up. If Fern's father killed Wilbur, he would have killed a prize winning pig. Once in second grade I had to stand up for someone similar to what Fern did for Wilbur. There was a huge boy in our class that liked to make fun of all the girls in my class. One day I over heard him making fun of my best friend for what she was wearing. I walked over to him and said "You must be really insecure about yourself if you're going to make fun of a "girl's" clothes, so why don't you pick on someone your own size. He never made fun of anyone ever again! I felt pretty good about myself that day! This is a situation when I had to stand up for someone like Fern stood up for Wilbur.

A Day No Pigs Would Die blog #1
In my family, my pet is like another family member. We have one cat and his name is Pumpkin. He has been with us for three years, and everyone in my family treats him like another part of the family. Most of the time Pumpkin serves as a friend when my family is working or they aren't home. He mostly sleeps, but when he is awake, he is very loving and wants to be around you. Since I only have one sibling that usually is at basketball, I usually play with my cat or hang out with my mom. In the beginning I wanted a dog, but our cat wondered over to our patio and we decided to keep him. In the future I am planning on getting a dog, not a cat! Overall, my cat serves as a friend, and he is just like another family member.

Point of View Story Switching
At 8:15, Sarah was standing at her locker, staring into a cracked mirror that hung insidee her locker. She double checked that there were no remenants of her morning meal stuck in her perfect teeth. She could see Tom talking to Leslie in the the middle of the dingy, crowded hallway. She turned around so fast she hurt here neck. She starts to think about how Tom looks at her, he doesn't remember when Leslie first came to school. Her old, retro sense of fashion. She begins to think about the time when she took Leslie under her guidance, changed her, made her into a proper fashion statement, like in that horrid move Clueless, staring Cher. Her clothes screamed 80's. Wearing disgusting chucks... Sarah can't believe that Leslie would have the nerve to talk to Tom, the young man in which Sarah was pining for, and going to ask to homecoming. How terrible.

Kellie's Creepy Halloween Story
In the dark of the night, with only the moonlight to guide the trail, Jenny and Ricky were out trick-or-treating. Jenny, who was dressed as a mummy, adn ricky, who was dressed as a ghost, had the best costumes in town. Jenny and ricky were new to the town and knew nothing about this trail. The old tale stated that on Halloween, there sat a mysterious old farm house at the top of the hill, no one knows who lived there or what hapened to it. The only thing they knew was that if you went in, you never came out. Jenny and Rciky had no idea what went on in that house so they walked up the long, narrow driveway to ask for candy. the driveway was lined with statues of goblins, and bats were flying around hanging in the trees. That didn't seem to bother Jenny and ricky one bit. They kept walking the trail until they reached the front door of the house. Ricky knocked on the door three times, then the door squeaked open. Jenny and Ricky looked at each other eagerly and then they tip-toed into the house. Out of no one at bat flew across the room and Jenny screamed at the top of her lungs! Ricky quieted her and then they walked further into the house. They had come to a room that was shut and said "KEEP OUT." Ricky pushed open the door and turned on his flashlight to the sight of skeletons of people that had went trick-or-treating in the house. They both screamed and ran out of the house, down the trail, and back to the road with all the other kids trick-or-treating. While all along the little old woman that lived there had just awaken from her sleep and saw the kids running down the hill. She cackled in a witchy laugh, and waited for more trick-or-treaters to come.

Of Mice and Men/Dreams Kellie Sansone
George and Lennie's dream was, to one day save up enough money to have their own piece of land. On their farm or land they were going to have chickens, rabbits, which Lennie would take care of, and they would live off the fat of the land. I wouldn't consider George and Lennie's dream to be realistic for time period they were working and living in. The men weren't being paid enough money to own the land that they would hope to one day own, or they were spending it all when they went into town. Also, many of the men that had recently worked on the farm had wanted the same dream, and they never saved up enough money or they ended up moving to work on a new farm. I think it is important for people to have dreams for the future because, if you don't have a dream you won't have anything to work hard towards and be rewarded from. Just like Lennie, George, and many of the other men on the ranch had dreamed of owning their own land. When someone doesn't support your dream, it makes you feel like you cannot work hard for it and that you will never achieve it. For example when George and Lennie were told that no man had ever reached the dream of owning a farm, they never earned enough money to purchase the land. If one's dreams go unfulfilled for long periods of time, you give up on that dream and never create a new dream to achieve. The only time it would be a good idea to hold onto a dream rather than face reality would be if you had the dream of furthering your education into college. That is why it is very important to have a realistic dream and also a dream you can work hard for and eventually achieve.
